Twitter, the networking tool that is most effective proves its point once again. I now have a handful of followers and yeah i don't have as many as i would like but its not the amount its who is following you. I have producers, DJs, MCs, bloggers, artists, commentators and Hip hop heads following me that have a lot to say, a lot of connects and a lot of talent. If you see this and your a artist looking to get some great connections within your chosen genre than why not set up a twitter account.
Anyway after i have just sounded like i work for that company i will tell you the real reason for this post. I saw that someone had tweeted about an interview on a site called cookieBOX and I'm like hmmm this has to be looked at, so i clicked the link read the interview found the questions and answers witty and enjoyable to read so i decided to check more. Let me put it like this pinkCookiz (Whitnee Layne) is a Hip hop head she is interviewing unsigned talent for her website which is full of so much talent its about to burst. So i tweeted pinkCookiz with 'When am i getting BOXed?' and you know what she checked my stuff and we did the interview.
The most amazing thing is if your in New York you can meet pinkCookiz in person for something to eat and a chat for the site, you can have an audio interview, video interview or a text interview. I just find it pretty innovative and respectful to the culture. So go check the site and in pinkCookiz words... 'Come get you some!!!' PEACE
